This is a great post John. I am addicted to a few shows, but DVR(record) everything first so I can blast through the commercials and not view them.

Your article really lays out the total cost in time and money that the “boob tube” costs us all.

    Thanks,
    ~Bert

    Phil,
Thanks for stopping by and reading. At least, try to encourage your friends limit the amount of time spent watching the TV.

For a long time I did not have a TV and I survived!!! We watch a lot of movies but we watch no TV shows. I really do not need it, although I love my movies!
    Thanks for the idea.

    Kathy,
We do watch movies once in a while through the computer. We do have the computer hooked to our blank flat panels. I have not missed any of the daily propaganda that is endlessly thrown at us.
