This particular method of online marketing is highly ideal because people use the Internet to find information. When you write informative articles with links back to your site, you can expect traffic to come in consistently.

Article marketing is very consistent in terms of trending. Its effectiveness has not changed over the years and is definitely something that will be here to stay. Because of its effectiveness, a lot of businesses use this method to market their products and services. If you are new to this online marketing method, you might be wondering how it will be able to benefit your business. Check out the benefits of article marketing below.

With this method, you are establishing yourself as an expert on a certain subject. A lot of people actually go to article directories to discover new ideas and thoughts. Thus, if you submit an article to these article directories, it is like bringing your site to the public eye.

Subtlety is the name of the game when it comes to these article directories. You have to write a relevant article on the product or service you are offering and likewise, highlight its features and benefits. A compelling and quality article will then encourage people to visit your site for more information.

One other reason why marketing using articles is effective is because you can optimize each article for a certain keyword. When you sprinkle these keywords into your article in a normal way, search engines will begin to take notice of it. Keywords are very important in search engine optimization. The more keywords you target with different articles, the higher your site will go in search engine results.

Article marketing is also ideal for small business owners because submitting articles to the thousands of article directories in the web is free. You can write your own articles or have them outsourced. The key to effective marketing is to place a link on your resource box so your readers can follow through to your site. The more article directories your articles are published in, the more backlinks you will get. With a lot of backlinks, you can expect a large traffic volume and an instant high-up from search engines.

But it doesn’t stop there. After you submit your articles to article directories, you need to do everything you can to let them gain exposure. For example, you need to ping your article every time you upload them so that it is easier for search engines to find them. It is also recommended that you bookmark your article with different bookmarking sites to add more backlinks to it. And don’t forget to ping the bookmarked URL so that you will go higher in search engine rankings.

If you come to think about it, content is indeed king. People are looking for information everyday. Take advantage of this fact and venture into article marketing. For sure, your traffic volume will increase immensely.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the advertising process that most marketers avoid. Most people are afraid to try article marketing for fear that their articles won't sound right. Been there, done that. Fortunately, article marketing is like talking to a friend. Just say what you are thinking and everything works.

    I like the broadcasting tips also. Many people let themselves down by not covering all of the bases to get their words out…and they pay for it by NOT putting money in their pockets. Great advice.

    I think article marketing is something anyone can do, but how do we monetize it faster for driving traffic? I have written over 40 articles online and over the past 4 months have been watching my traffic increase.

    I'm wondering too…do you use directories that you submit to also?
