    John,
I tried that strategy last year ,but then I quit that company and basically my ad went to a park domain. I love that idea specially if you can sponsor a winning team.I should of stayed long enough with the company to bring you actual results of that marketing strategy.. Keep on Rocking..

    Hey John,
Excellent post on expanding the thought process on marketing. Most people see MANY ads everyday ( I have heard as high as 3,000+ per day) but never implement anything different than what they have been doing. Unfortunately, they lose this easy advertising.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. This is the reason that I keep coming back.

    To Your Continued Success,
    Bill

    Carlos,
In my area we get to deal directly with the Baseball organization. It is a great time to go watch the kids play.

    Cassie,

It is a lot of fun to watch the kids play ball. It also lets you network with new people at the park!

    Katherine,

You are right. When the team is out on the field, I always get the question, “What is Collectassets.info?” I get to talk to new people without even trying.

    Kathy,

Parents and kids will come into my business and scour over the pictures of the different years they had played on our team.

WOW. That is something that I have NEVER thought about. There are a ton of different things i could be doing around here just like that. We have kids and teams galore. I guess i am going to have to do some scouting and find some of the good ones…

    John,

My cousin and I actually talked very briefly about this… I was kind of in the middle of something so we didn't really get into it much.

Sponsoring a Sunday recreational league men's softball team would be a Great idea as well. Have you ever sponsored a men's softball team before or just local kid's sports teams?

    - Yo

  • http://JohnStoneBlog.com John Stone

    Yo,

Yes a couple of years ago we had a second location in a larger city and did sponsor some men's softball teams. The team did end up with a great season and made the local papers. It was great to see half page pictures in the paper with my company logo on every shirt. Anytime you can get YOUR brand displayed in front of the masses sales follow. The only aspect of this is you can not track the sales generated from this activity.
