What is a Chicken List John? Your Chicken List are the people you have on your prospecting list that you are afraid to call. These may include people that are successful in their business, that you may feel intimidated by.

Let me tell you something. These are the exact people you want to recruit into your business. In my experience these people are sometimes the easiest to recruit. Most of them, not all, are always looking for new opportunities, or advantages. They will also give you a quick answer. I love a person that will give me a quick decision so I can move on to the next. Being a business owner myself I am always looking at new ways to diversify my income and I will look at an opportunity and make a quick decision if I want to get involved or not.

These people on your Chicken List will most likely not need much coaching. When they look at the opportunity and “Get It” and see the same vision that you did when you first seen the opportunity. Just stand back and watch them go.

I have an appointment, tomorrow, with a top earner in a juice company. I am going to give you the exact script I used to get the meeting with him. If he sees the opportunity as I see it, that remains to be seen. At least I will get infront of him and show him what I’ve got. I can not take credit for this script as I learned it from my upline but it does work.

Here is the rule for this script. Use this on the people, on your list, that have no idea that you are involved with whatever company you are building.

You: Hi Name, This is John. How are you? Make some casual conversation to make some connection.

You: Hey I just got involved with XYZ Company and it is going crazy. Do me a favor and if anybody asks you about XYZ Company, promise me that you will get back with me and ask me about it.

Them: If they say “O.K.” That means they are not interested
Them: If they say “What is XYZ Company”? That means they are interested. If they are interested follow up with this.

You: Hey I’m a little jammed up right now, I will have to get with you tomorrow.

You always want to be busy and appear busy, even if this is the only person you are talking with.

The next day, here is what you are going to say.

You: Hi Name, Yesterday when we spoke you asked me about XYZ Company.

Them: Yes, what is XYZ Company?

You: Well it is a ____________ network marketing company, I feel the timing is right and I’m very serious about it. I am talking to the brightest people I know for this business intiative. Do you keep your options open to ways of diversifying your income?

They will not say NO. I have not met a business owner that does not look for new ways to make an income.

Them: What is it about?

You: Well Name, it is difficult to discuss on the phone. At this point you will set up an appointment and give them a presentation, or maybe your company provides an on line presentation, CD or DVD.

I personaly like one on one presentations but I will show you how to handle each of the above.

If you want to do a one on one.
You: Listen,I can give you the details tomorrow. I have two openings tomorrow. One at 10am and one at 1pm. Which works better for you? Great I will see you then and give you all the details. Give them dates and times until they commit.

Never try to explain it over the phone. The least you say the better. Let the presentation do the selling for you.

If you want to send them to a webinar. My primary has a 24 hour webinar but I never tell the prospect that it is a 24 hour webinar. Always get them to commit to a time.

You: Hey Name, we have an on line presentation that is going to start in 10 minutes. Can you get in front of a computer? If they say NO. OK Name we have one at 2pm. Can you make that one? Keep going until you get them to commit. Once they commit say: Great I will call you after the webinar and we can discuss what you liked about it.

If you just want to send them a CD or DVD you can say this.

You: Hey Name, It is difficult to explain over the phone so I would like to send you some information. What is your mailing address? Tell them you will give them a call in a couple of days to see what they liked about it.

This script has worked like a charm for me. Now it is not 100% but it takes the pressure off of feeling like I’m being pushy. This script makes them ask about your opportunity.

Practice this script and put your own spin on it, then go attack your chicken list.

My next post wll be a script to help you with the follow up.

If this post helped you in some way please share this with others by sharing it on Facebook, Tweeting or your favorite book marking site.

Everyone is talking about the economy. I don’t care where you go. The grocery store, the media, in the coffee shops, in the living room, in the dinning room, in the break room at work, everybody is talking about it. Now I am not an economist and there are a lot of things that I don’t understand about the economy.

I do have a question. Where did all the money go? Where is it? What happened to the money? Remember the commercial for Wendy’s? “Where’s the beef”? My question is “Where’s the money”? I know the money didn’t get piled up and set on fire. I know it didn’t vanish. I know some companies have gone under but they still had billions of dollars of assets and some cash. What happened to the cash? What happened to the assets? I know the earth didn’t open up and swallow all the assets. Ok, some of us lost some of our money. If you were fortunate enough you had a portfolio and your money was in mutual funds, if you are like me, you may have lost 25% to 30% of your money. If you played in the stock market you may have lost up to 50% or maybe you have lost everything, depending on where your money was invested.

Why is it that people are not spending money? Let’s look at it this way. If you are working for someone and they are paying you a check and you get a check every week. Maybe you have $5,000.00 in the bank, it didn’t go anywhere, you didn’t loose anything on that money. Why is it that people are not spending that money? Why is it that people are still getting a paycheck but not buying more?

What is going on in the economy? I believe it is fear! Fear is the reason all this is going on. We are paralyzed both emotionally and mentally. We are in a state of inertia. We are not moving at all. A state of inertia when it comes to our money, I can understand that. A state of inertia when it comes to our dreams, I don’t understand this. I don’t get it. Why is it that people are putting their dreams on hold? I know this is a time to put your money on hold but what about your dreams? What about your plans? What about your vision? What about your goals? Why do you have to put them on hold? I don’t understand.

If you own a small business, I know you are hurting. I can sympathize with you because I am a small business owner myself. I know people are not spending their money at the small businesses. Small businesses are feeling the impact more so than any other group of people. Let me say this. The problem is not in the economy. The problem is not in the debt issue that is going on. The problem is that it is happening in our mind! Everything you have, like your business, is because of the law of “cause and effect”. Basically the “Cause” is your mind and the “Effect” is what you are experiencing.

People are creating things, in their mind, that are not really happening. As a result of that they are afraid and putting themselves in a state of inertia. They are not taking any action. I was speaking with a fellow internet marketer the other day and we spoke for about 20 minutes and the subject of the economy never came up once. He kept talking about how well his business was doing and how much money he was making. He made no mention of people not spending any money. You know why that never came up. Because he is not focusing on that. He is too busy following his plan, strategies, dreams and goals. He doesn’t have time to worry about the economy.

You don’t have to participate in a bad economy! It is the choice you make. I’m not saying that it won’t be difficult at times. I understand what is going on, I understand the impact of what is going on. You know that during the depression there were a lot of people that became very wealthy. They made a lot of money. Do you know why? Because they did not put their dreams, their goals their aspirations on hold. They instead began looking for new opportunities. Yes, new opportunities are surfacing right now. They don’t look like the old opportunities. If you are looking for the old opportunities, they are changing.

What I’m saying is, be vigilant, open your eyes and keep pressing on, keep applying, keep working on your dreams and they will show up. So now you will be like the people that capitalized and took advantage of the Great Depression. I truly believe what is going on is in our minds, it is a state of mind. No condition is permanent. This economy is not going to stay in this condition. It may even get worse but it will rebound. When the economy does rebound, will it find you stuck in your mindset? Or will your mindset be open to capture the new opportunities that will surface?

Did the title catch your attention? Yes Pain is beautiful and you will see what I mean later in this article. No I am not into physical pain. I’m talking about growing pains in relationships and business.

Pain is absolutely necessary in life to guide our actions. Many people new to the business world go into it with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. They don’t really expect many bumps along the road. A lot of that thinking has to do with their views of people that have already achieved success. Especially in the network marketing arena. These network marketing superstars are placed before us and we are told stories of their massive success. What isn’t shared, at these events, are the stories of some of the pain that is experienced along the way to the top.

Pain is essential for growth in humans for it is a source of fuel we need to move forward. I will tell you right now if you are involved in business, a relationship or life at all there will be pain. Pain is an unavoidable reality of life. Don’t run away. The key to success is to learn how to accept the pain and grow from it.

As much as we try to minimize pain in life, the fact remains that pain is unavoidable. Everything has its highs and lows. Therefore, if we want to succeed in life, the key is not to eliminate pain entirely because that is impossible, but rather to learn how to understand and accept the pain.

What we call “pain” is actually a matter of effort. The effort of physical fitness is painful. The effort of thinking through a complex idea is painful. The effort of building a long-term relationship is painful. From here we see that although effort may be painful, the goal of life should not be to escape it.

If I were to ask you what the opposite of pain is. You may respond, “Pleasure”.
Pleasure is actually not correct. The opposite of pain is “no pain”, the correct term would be “comfort”. Seeking comfort may be nice but you will never find ultimate pleasure if you always avoid pain. I have always found that my successes are always sweeter if I had to experience some growing pains along the way. If you always look for the smoothest path you will miss out on life’s greatest pleasures.

Often, the fear of pain is worse than the pain itself. I’ve watched my children experience the fear of pain at the thought of going to the doctor. Once they receive a shot the pain is over in a matter of seconds but I’ve watched them agonize about the fear of the shot hours before the appointment.

Fear of pain is the greatest roadblock there is. If you’re afraid of prospecting, you’ll never talk to anyone. If you’re afraid of physical or emotional exertion, you won’t achieve, you won’t grow, you won’t find truth.

We all have a choice: Either pay in the pain of trying, or in the emotional pain of knowing you’re too weak to try. For example: If you don’t ask a prospect to take a look at your business, you avoid the pain of refusal – but you have the pain of being a quitter the rest of your life. And that always comes back to haunt a person. Believe me folks, I have been here.

Focus On The Positive

Think about a child playing with his friends. The child gets knocked down and starts crying. His friends immediately call him a “Cry Baby”. What does the child do? Usually the child will pull himself together and get up then continue to play.

By the time the child gets home and shows his parents he most likely will burst into tears! That is a little story from my childhood.

Our happiness in life evolves from how we deal with pain. Many people have learned to give pain a big, “So What!” Others may focus on their pain and just get stuck and never move on from the painful experience.

This is where we must stop focusing on our failures but focus on our successes. Focusing on your failures will cause you undue pain and will prevent you from moving on. We are all created with unbelievable potential and talents, why waste that focusing on our shortcomings?

Here is something to remember when you are experiencing pain: “Pain is passing, results are lasting.” In fact, pain is often just a threshold to cross into a world of pleasure. Those who achieve the most are those who endured the greatest pain. This is why pain is beautiful.

SEO, like any marketing, is about ROI. SEO is a form of marketing that can’t be guaranteed, but at least you can track what’s being done. It is sometimes also referred to as Organic SEO. SEO (Search engine optimization) is not a one step process. SEO services involves continuous efforts to keep up with the constant changes that the search engines AND your Internet competition makes. It is important for any website and the same goes for blogs. SEO success depends on the consistent generation of CONTENT just as a car depends on fuel to perform. SEO is, or at least should be, the active ongoing processes involved in the improving of aspects of your website(s) to improve rankings and thereby theoretically traffic and actions from search engines driven traffic. It increases visibility, so your business can be found.

Keyword

Keywords are the phrases people type in when they do searches online. Keyword research and selection is arguably the most important part of marketing a business online. Keywords serve as the foundation that the entire search engine optimization process is built on. Keyword Relevance You want to find keywords that have to do with your business so that they will bring in traffic that is valuable to you. Keyword Popularity You need to find keywords and phrases that are being searched for regularly, or else you might rank #1 and get no traffic.

Local

Local SEO marketing and small business search are a rapidly growing trend. Local search is important, even if you are after a global market. Local search engine optimization is one of the most effective search marketing strategies available.

Link

Link building is essentially trying to get backlinks from other websites to your business website. Link Popularity All major search engines now use the number and quality of links to your website as a measure to determine if your website is a reliable source of information.

Small Business SEO is being used by thousands of websites and small business owners today. Small business SEO can be done by the business owner but there is a learning curve attached. Small business SEO is really about showing up on the radar of people who are likely to buy your product or service, or perhaps become a fan or follower (since audiences pay off in other ways).

John Stone Marketing SEO services can hand deliver new prospects with our affordable internet marketing lead generation programs, designed to optimize the sales, marketing efficiency and ROI for any size business.

Internet Marketing On The Go

The idea of internet marketing, at least for me was the idea of freedom. The ability to go where I wanted and continue to produce an income weather I’m behind the computer or not.

I am an outside person, so the idea of spending days on end behind the computer made me very crazy. In the beginning I did spend a lot of time mashing the keyboard trying to get internet marketing figured out.

Ideas for marketing seem to hit me when I’m not anywhere near my computer and my mind is a million miles away from internet marketing. I’m sure there is some psychology behind why this happens. Anyway, I scramble for a notebook or piece of paper to jot down my idea to put on my blog or to create an article out of and then stuff it in my pocket.

Usually the next time I see that note pad or piece of paper is in the clothes dryer wadded into a tight ball and the note no longer legible. I then remember that some stellar idea struck me and I had to write it down. If only I could remember what I wrote! Ugh!

Now I have remedied my dilemma. My Blackberry has everything on it that I need.

I have Wordpress on it. I can create blog post directly on my phone and submit my posts immediately. As a matter of fact that is how I’m writing this post right now. My kids are doing their Martial Arts training and I’m adding content to my blog.

If you want to go into a highly profitable business without stressing over starting a new one, then consider building a MLM business. Multi-level marketing is a legitimate way of earning money offline and online. It allows you to start a business by promoting a company’s products and getting a commission for every sale. Many hardworking individuals have had their fame and fortune in this type of business. If you want to join the throngs of successful people in a MLM business, you need to know the basics for building a MLM business.

Take your time when you search for the best business model for you. You must love what you are doing to attain success. Therefore, you have to choose products that you actually will use as a buyer. By making sure of this, you also make things easier for you since you’ll have no trouble highlighting the benefits one can get from the products you are promoting.

Don’t immediately join the first company that offers you this particular kind of business venture. You have to know how much it will cost you to join and maintain your promotional efforts. It is also imperative that you consider the time frame it will take you to get back your investment to check if you can really afford to build a business which does not earn money right away.

When you have the right MLM Company to join, you need to give it your all when learning about it. Have the attitude of treating it as your own company so that you become a better business person. Check out the company’s products by visiting its website and know how their business operates. Understand the commission process and learn about their payment methods. When you get to know the business by heart, you will have an easier time promoting their products and recruiting other people to sell their products.

The most crucial step in a MLM business is the process of promoting your products since this determines how successful you will be with your business. You can immediately start a direct ad campaign for your products or host your products on a website.

When you choose to have a site to display your products, see to it that it has interesting and useful information to give to your readers. Building a list is also necessary so that you can keep your potential customers up to date with the products you are promoting. With a list, you also build rapport with your readers by providing them interesting information.

Recruiting other people to join your MLM business is another way for you to earn. Therefore, you need to see to it that your people are working to your advantage. To do this, first-rate support must be provided. Answer any questions they may have quickly and honestly. Value the efforts they bring to your team because these are the efforts that add to the success of your business.

When you know the basics for building a MLM business, you can pave the way to a profitable future. Sure, there are challenges to face, but if you really put your heart into it, this particular business model will reward you for your efforts.

Here is a technique that I use for my brick and mortar business as well as my On line business. This offline marketing strategy supports the community as well as your business.

Sponsoring a local sports team often gives children the opportunity to play a team sport that they may otherwise not be able to play due to cost.

The community loves a business that gives back and will keep you in mind when they need whatever service your business may offer.

Another great part about this technique. The teams are usually listed in the paper, when they play, so you get print advertising for FREE!

If you should sponsor a winning team, your business name will be displayed on the front page of the sports section.

You never know if one of those team players or coaches may be interested in becoming part of your business.

I recommend implementing this offline business strategy and increase the awarness of your business in your community.

To YOUR Success

Numismatics, the study of money and the collection of coins, began hundreds of years ago. Numismatic coin collecting became known as the “hobby of kings” because typical coin collectors were royals, nobility and people of privileged backgrounds. Today anyone can enjoy the fascinating hobby of collecting coins.

In ancient Rome, Ceasar Augustus, the Roman Emperor, was known for distributing all kinds of coins to the people as Saturnalia gifts. In 1355, the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV was presented a collection of coins by Petrarch. Petrarch, an Italian scholar and poet, is considered the first Renaissance coin collector.

Other well-known collectors include Pope Boniface VIII, Holy Roman Emperor Maximillian, King Louis XIV of France and Ferdinand I. The very first book about coins, De Asse et Partibus, was written in 1514 by Guillaume Bude.

In the early 19th century, coin collecting societies and associations began. The Royal Numismatic Society began in 1836. It still exists today and publishes the Numismatic Chronicle, a journal of coin collecting. The American Numismatic Society began in 1858. In 1866 it began publishing the American Journal of Numismatics. Today the largest coin collection in America is owned by the society. Located in New York City, it has 800,000 coins of all kinds.

Over time, more and more people discovered this fascinating hobby. Most are amateur collectors who simply enjoy the coins. Others are professional and grade coins according to the Sheldon Scale. Numismatics has room for every kind of coin collector.

Collecting coins is an easy hobby to begin and is enjoyed by people of all ages and walks of life. It does not cost a lot of money and most of the supplies to get started are already in most homes. If you are beginning a collection with little to no budget, all a person needs to start a coin collection is a box, coins and an interest in them.

If you have a bit more to spend on supplies you will want to purchase an album and/or small paper envelopes. These things are used to protect the coins. You will also need a magnifying glass between 5x and 8x and a book for identifying and pricing the different coins.

Advanced coin collectors can purchase as many supplies as their budgets allow. The sky is the limit. Advanced coin collectors may want to specialize in collecting coins from a specific era or part of the world. Some coin collectors may want to collect the same coins in each year they were minted. Others may decide to learn how to grade the coins.

Numismatic coin collecting is a great hobby for people of all ages. The degree of involvement can be tailored from very simple coin collecting for children all the way up to the level of a professional coin collector. The most important thing when first beginning to collect is to take it slow and have fun with your new hobby and share it with your friends and family. Who knows, maybe you will get them involved in coin collecting, too.

If I told you that I knew how to get free silver and gold every month, would you want me to tell you or keep it to myself?

Things to consider when choosing your company. Take a look at the leadership, compensation plan, product and make sure you believe in your product or your prospects and customers will see right through you. Be a product of the product.

There are many factors to consider when choosing the correct MLM company to partner with. You will want to look at and investigate the leadership. This will give you a future view of how the company will run.

Investigate the compensation plan thoroughly. Make sure you will get paid for your efforts and time.

Check out the products offered. Make sure that the product can stand on it’s own.

Most importantly, You need to be a product of the product! If you don’t use or truly believe in the product, your prospects will see right through you. If they can not see the passion in you they will not purchase your product.

When you make your decision and commit to the company, make sure you participate in their auto-ship program. The auto-ship is where the bread and butter is. If you don’t participate then what do you think your distributors will do? If your distributors are looking to you as leader, they will do whatever you are doing.

Here is what I believe in: Check It Out!
