Article Marketing Tool

January 18th, 2010 by John

I have found Article Marketing to be a challenging subject but a rewarding one.

I actually became aware of Article Marketing only a few weeks ago. I was invited to attend a free webinar. This webinar totally blew my mind. The presenter of the webinar hit us with one technique after the other. Every technique he shared with us was totally out of the box thinking. This guy was generating a tremendous amount of leads on a daily basis. His record day was 76 leads in one day! At that point I was ready to absorb all the information he was dishing out. I could not get enough! Well folks, I watched that webinar over and over again, just letting the information sink in. He shared with us how to get our articles posted to over 200 bookmark sites and 20 social sites with a click of a button. Wow! How powerful is that? That is like having 220 fishing hooks out on the web. Let’s take it one step further,

If you write one article a day for 30 days that would give you 6600 fishing hooks. Now what if you took the challenge a little further and wrote one article everyday for the next 100 days. That’s a lot of fishing hooks out there. This how the big dogs market.  I then began to implement what I had learned. I followed his 4 step action plan and applied it to 2 blog post. When I posted my blog I achieved the #3 and #4 spot on Google for the key words I selected for my post. Wow! The leads started flowing immediately.

I am now currently honing my skills for Article Marketing. Just when I thought I had it figured out, he conducted another webinar to show more techniques. This webinar was just as powerful as the last. Just like the first webinar I watched the second webinar over and over again. Each time I watched the webinars I picked up more nuggets of information I missed the first couple times around. As with any marketing technique we are always on the learning curve. We never stop learning.

I can see that this is going to be a powerful weapon to put in my lead generating arsenal. The best thing about using Article Marketing is that it costs no money to implement.  When you can market for no money and acheive the same or better results with paid advertising, why not?

I am also a restaurant owner and have spent an enormous amount of money on traditional advertising. I have decided to drop most of our old school advertising and to begin implementing the leverage of the internet and begin promoting our restaurant for FREE. I will track the results of my experiment and write about them at a later date. I encourage any serious Internet marketer to get a grasp on Article Marketing and begin generating more leads than you can handle. As internet marketers we must continue to take action on a consistent basis to get the results we desire.

So jump on Article Marketing and begin generating hoards of leads!

Xyngular

January 13th, 2010 by John

Xyngular has just launched in 2009 and I believe will explode the network marketing industry.

Xyngular has a unique super juice beverage and a very unique compensation plan. I have only seen one other company with the same plan and they have skyrocketed after only one year. I predict xyngular will do the same.

Don’t worry about Xyngular being a scam. They are a solid company with experienced leadership.

I want to focus on the training aspect of Xyngular. To be successful in this industry it is imperative that you learn how to market yourself on the Internet.

Notice I said, “Market yourself.” I did not say market your company or product.

There is the old school method of marketing your business. Such as making a list of 100 family and friends, dragging people to meetings, conducting hotel meetings, cold calling, etc…

Nothing wrong with the old school but you need to incorporate the new school methods into your team building efforts as well.

The new school techniques will allow you to generate leads for your Xyngular business automatically. The leads you generate using the Internet will contact you first. You will not have to chase them down or drag them to meetings.

Here is why the Internet method works so well. The Internet exposes you and your opportunity to thousand and thousands of people every day. When using the list of 100 people you created, what do you do when you have exhausted your list? You need to find more leads.

The statistics show that only 3% will say yes to your opportunity. So for every 100 people you talk to you will only recruit 3 people into your business. You will have to talk to a lot of people and cover a lot of geographic area if you want to be successful.

The Internet will allow you to cover the globe and attract up to hundreds of leads a day. Wouldn’t you like to wake up in the morning, check your email and see all the leads that want to know about your opportunity? That is what I do every morning and you can do the same..

Marketing on the Internet is a completely different beast than traditional marketing. Your marketing efforts, on the internet, will involve social media sites. On the social sites you will not want to blast your product and opportunity to everyone. Most people will run from you because they do not want to be sold. When I first started I blasted my opportunity and product and could not get a single lead. I then learned about a philosophy called attraction marketing.

When I finally grasped the concept of attraction marketing, my business took off almost overnight. I quit blasting my business and began to provide value to my social community. Value can come in many forms. I would provide tips and techniques on how to build an mlm business. I would often be inspired by a quote or a scripture and share that with my contacts on the social sites.

This helped position me as a leader and a “go to” guy. I helped many people that were involved in other businesses. Many of those got involved in my business because I was able to provide more value than their sponsor in their other business. That is the magic of attraction marketing.

You need to join some social sites and begin to develop relationships with people on those sites. After a relationship is developed and a trust established, that is the time to present your opportunity. People don’t join businesses, people join people. I joined my opportunity because of the person who introduced me to the opportunity.

So get on board with the internet and attraction marketing and make your sponsor jealous.

Laser Target MLM Leads

January 8th, 2010 by John

On Target

Some of you may know that I am an avid hunter and love to target shoot. I love to shoot targets with my bow and gun and I do have a favorite bow and gun to shoot with. I will speak about my favorite weapons in my marketing arsenal in a minute.

The first rule of target shooting is to identify your target. You identify your target for both safety and accuracy.

Just like marketing on line you need to identify who your target is. On line marketing is a totally different animal than paper, radio or billboard advertising.

Many times this type of marketing is called “shotgun marketing”. They call it “shotgun marketing” because when you shoot a shotgun, many pellets come out of the end of the barrel and scatter in random patterns. You will never know precisely where your shot is going to land. When using newspaper, billboards or radio you can not focus your aim on your intended target.

If you want to shoot a target with any amount of accuracy you would want to choose a rifle. A rifle, when shot, will expel a single bullet and hit exactly where you aim it, if you are experienced with the rifle.

On line marketing is the same way. You will want to identify your target and use a weapon with great accuracy.

Keyword research is your weapon of accuracy and how you will identify your target.

The prospect you are trying to acquire will search the internet using specific key words.

Let’s stay with the gun analogy. Say you market a hand gun and it is a 32 caliber and it is brand xyz. The first thing you want to do is research keywords related to 32 caliber and brand xyz.

I use Google Adword Tool to conduct my research. The tool is free and it will give you suggestions on other highly searched keywords related to your original keyword. This is a very powerful tool and can really narrow down your target.

Put your keyword or words in the adword tool and look at the results. You will see which keywords relate to your original keyword and you will see the amount of searches done for those keywords, on a global level.

Now look at the keywords with the most searches and conduct a Google search on those keywords.

On the upper right hand corner of the screen you will see the number of results competing for that particular keyword.

I have found that I can get top ranking when the results show 10 million results or less. I have not tried keywords with over 10 million organic results but I will as I hone my marketing skills.

The next thing you need to do when you have the keywords you want to target is create some content. Your content can be a article or maybe a video. I use a combination of the two to dominate the keywords I choose.

Once you create your content you need to get it distributed on the Internet. I use an awesome software that helps me distribute my articles to 300 different article sites. This software will get you top ranking almost overnight.

I will then create a video discussing the article I just created. I use a distribution service that will distribute my video to various sites and I have seen top ranking in as little as two hours..

Keyword research, article marketing and distribution are my favorite weapons to hit my target accurately and consistently.

Utilize these weapons in your marketing arsenal and you will see dramatic results in your business.

7 Steps To Goal Setting

January 5th, 2010 by John

7 Steps To Goal Setting

The following broad guidelines will help you to set effective goals:

#1 State each goal as a positive statement: Express your goals positively – ‘Execute this procedure well’ is a much better goal than ‘Don’t make this foolish misstep.”

#2 Be meticulous: Set a meticulous goal, putting in dates, times and amounts so that you can calculate achievement. If you do this, you will know exactly when you have achieved the goal, and can take thorough satisfaction from having achieved it.

#3 Set priorities: When you have more than a few goals, give each one a priority. This helps you to avoid feeling overwhelmed by too many goals, and helps to direct your attention to the most important ones.

#4 Write goals down: This solidifies them and gives them more weight.

#5 Keep operational goals small: Keep the low-level goals you are working towards small and achievable. If a goal is too significant, then it can seem that you are not making development towards it. Keeping goals small and incremental gives more opportunities for reward. Obtain today’s goals from larger ones.

#6 Set performance goals, not outcome goals: You should take thoughtfulness to set goals over which you have as much rule as possible. There is nothing more dispiriting than failing to achieve a personal goal for reasons beyond your power. In business, these could be bad business environments or unexpected effects of government policy. In sport, for instance, these reasons could include feeble judging, bad weather, injury, or just plain bad luck. If you base your goals on individual accomplishment, then you can keep control over the achievement of your goals and get satisfaction from them.

#7 Set realistic goals: It is important to set goals that you can complete. All sorts of people (employers, parents, media, society) can set unrealistic goals for you. They will often do this in ignorance of your own desires and ambitions. Alternatively you may set goals that are too high, because you may not recognize the value of either the obstacles in the way or recognize quite how much skill you need to develop to achieve a particular level of performance.

Achieving Goals

When you have achieved a goal, take the time to take pleasure in the satisfaction of having done so. Soak up the implications of the goal achievement, and survey the progress you have made towards other goals. If the goal was a significant one, treat yourself accordingly. All of this helps you manufacture the self-confidence you deserve!

With the knowledge of having achieved this goal, re-examine the rest of your goal plans:

If you achieved the goal too effortlessly, make your next goals more challenging.

If the goal took a gloomy length of time to achieve, make the next goals a little easier.

If you learned something that would advance you to change other goals, do so.

If you noticed a insufficiency in your skills even though achieving the goal, make a decision whether to set goals to fix this.
Failure to meet goals does not matter  much, as long as you be taught from it. Feed lessons learned back into your goal setting program.

Remember too that your goals will change as time goes on. Modify them frequently to indicate growth in your learning and experience, and if goals do not hold any attraction any longer, then let them go.
